"Kaboom" - Cherry Lane Theater
"Kaboom is supplied with a wonderfully animated cast, all of
whom seem practiced and comfortable in the art of comedy.
They have perfect timing for delivering a punchline and
waiting patiently for the hilarity to ripple through the
audience. But most importantly, the actors seem to be having
a good time with their roles. The production has an
infectious energy, and feels very much at home in the New
York Fringe Festival."

"The Higher Education of Khalid Amir" - Midtown International Theatre Festival
"Under Craig J. George's facile direction... But
particularly worthy of note are Fico as the nutty FBI man
and Hollinger as a zany television star."
--- Backstage
"Standouts in the supporting cast include Tyler Hollinger as
Barry Overdrive, the über-narcissist TV talking head Sam
Champion/Rush Limbaugh hybrid."

"As You Like It" - Orlando Shakespeare Theatre
"Tyler Hollinger matches his Rosalind with a sweet, boyish
Orlando - a hero and a heroine who are masculine and
feminine both."
--- Orlando Sentinel
"Newcomer Tyler Hollinger's goofy portrayal of the lovesick
Orlando is charming. But his more formidable portrayal as
the outcast brother is authentic. His rollicking wrestling
match was the highlight of the evening. I thoroughly enjoyed
the comedic take on the scene and was thankful I was not in
the front row..."

"The Blue Carbuncle with Sherlock Holmes & The Gift of the Magi"
"Jodie Bentley and Tyler Hollinger manage to avoid
easy sentimentality and find the camaraderie and
love, with an undercurrent of erotic passion, that
bind O. Henry's famous romantic pair."
--- Nancy Ellen Shore, BACK STAGE
"Solid, sincere playing by Tyler
Hollinger... complete the story. It is deceptively
simple to watch, hiding extremely well done
technique-much like the original story."

"Swim Shorts 3"
JOE THE LIFEGUARD
"Swim Shorts 3 is a mini vacation romp at the roof
pool atop the Holiday Inn Midtown. With great
energy... An engaging company of actors brings
marvelous vigor to these compact plays, but the
evening as a whole is quite enjoyable and makes rich
use of the surroundings-where else do you get to see a
play while reclining poolside in a chaise lounge?
It starts off quite strongly with Joe the Lifeguard, a
marvelously funny piece of screwball comedy that is
well-served by the dense surfer dignity of Tyler
Hollinger's lifeguard ... and at a perfect pace where
I was clear on what was happening but never got ahead
of the piece to question its logic."

"Committed"
MEN ARE PIGS
"Hollinger seems particularly comfortable in this
style. With a performance that is both heartfelt and
humorous, he switches seamlessly from wounded puppy to
man-on-the-prowl. It's very easy to sympathize with
these lovable losers - not to mention feel compelled
to set them up, no matter how piggy they've become.

"Hollinger and Mannix stand out as their heartless
girlfriends string them along and break their hearts.

"The Delicate Business of Boy and Miss Girl"
"...other standout performances come from Tyler Hollinger (Venture Capitalist), but the
ensemble should be commended, because this is truly a wonderful team effort from Odyssey.
This play deserves an off-Broadway run to showcase the depth of the play, the production
itself, and its cast."

"Shakespeare's R&J"
"Tyler Hollinger, who mainly played Mercutio, Friar Lawrence, and Lady Capulet, and
Jeremy Johnson who played Tybalt, the Nurse, and Lord Capulet were believable, both as
these characters, and as students attempting to act these roles."
--- Theatre Mirror

"Last Sunday in June"
"The evening is capped by the ... appearance of Tyler Hollinger's bare-chested hunk."
--- Carolyn Clay, Boston Phoenix
|
"...(Hollinger's) obligatory appearance as the shirtless hunk proves to be brightest in the bunch."
--- Robert Nesti, Boston EDGE
|
"Tyler Hollinger, also a polished veteran of this summer's R&J, pulls off a buff cameo
as the requisite body beautiful. Mr. Hollinger, who adorns the company's posters and
postcards, makes a sweet, harmless hunk."
--- Beverly Creasey, Theatre Mirror

"Fools In Love"
"Stellar! Astonishing! Captivating! Across the board, the massive cast captures the sense
of their Elizabethan lines. Most use the text to shape their characters hitting active
words, using a wide vocal range which makes the show more comprehensible to listen to
then many "Sophisticated" stabs at the bard. Leaves Kids Hungry for Shakespeare!"

"Goldest Oldie of them all. I have seen a few productions of A Midsummer's Night Dream
beginning with Peter Brooks in 1971. On film I have seen Mickey Rooney as Puck, Calista
Flockhart as Helena and Rupert Everrett as Oberon. But never has it been clearer to me
than when I watched FOOLS IN LOVE."
--- Anita Gates, New York Times
|
"Fools in Love succeeds because the cast is having such a good time that their enthusiasm is infectious!"
--- Frank Schreck, New York Post
|
"Beats the Puck out of most competing adult productions! Elegant! A most rare vision! A
play that starts with a running jump and ends in a laughing heap."
--- Time Out Starred Critics Circle
|
"An Exuberant doo-wop musical production. The treat begins before curtain time in the
lobby...All the performers are first rate! This is one of the better entertainements for
children to come our way."
--- William Wolf, Drama Desk President
